Herrington's acquires DUNN Builders Supply |
|
Hillsdale, New York -- Ed Herrington, Inc., the regional building supply company, has completed the acquisition of Dunn Builders Supply. The acquisition involves adding Dunn’s three existing stores located in Catskill, Hudson (Greenport) and Chatham to their network of five existing stores in Hillsdale and Millerton, NY; West Springfield and Lenox, MA; and Lakeville, CT.

This summer the City of Hudson hosts its first ever public art exhibition. Sponsored by the Columbia County Council on the Arts and the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce, Best in Show 2008 features over 60 artist decorated fiberglass dogs displayed on steel pedestals throughout the Hudson Business District. About Paulownia:Paulownia is a soft hardwood that is native to China and has been used for over one thousand years in the fine furniture and construction industries. The heartwood is light in color and the sapwood even lighter. The color difference between the two is not distinct. The wood is without odor or taste and when sanded has the feel of spun silk.
Environmentally Friendly - Paulownia is predominantly plantation grown and considered a "green" product given its ten to twelve year harvesting cycles.
